The former “High School Musical” star, who usually looks gorgeous with long dark hair, turns into a frumpy girl. She’s sporting piercings on her face, short locks and boyish baggy clothes.
The “Sucker Punch” actress gushed about her latest on-screen makeover on her Facebook page, writing, “I have been so stupidly busy working on Gimme Shelter. I’m so excited and proud of the work I’ve been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie.” She added, “It’s crazy sauce. Lol only one more week of shooting till I’m done! Xx V.”
In the movie, the ex-girlfriend of Zac Efron plays a pregnant, homeless teen who gets away from her abusive mother to find her biological father. At first, she is accepted by her father, but then she is thrown out by him after she declines to abort her baby. Brendan Fraser plays Vanessa’s on-screen dad, who fathered her as a result of a youthful fling.
