Donning a strapless blue skimpy two-piece, the Rachel Berry depicter of “Glee” was joined by her shirtless boyfriend Theo Stockman as she splashed into the sea. The couple was also snapped walking hand-in-hand along the beach.
Over the weekend, the 24-year-old actress tweeted about her getaway, writing, “Taking this hiatus to the next level! Enjoying some serious sun & sand & relaxation in one of the most beautiful places in the world:).” She added in another tweet, “Swimming in the clear blue ocean! #lifeisgood :).”
Sharing what other thing she did during the vacation, she wrote “[I’m] reading @Bethenny book ‘Place of Yes’ on the beach right now.” She posted a photo of a sea turtle that she found during her vacation as well. Along with the image, she wrote, “My new friend I met on the beach today:).”
While Lea was happy enjoying her sandy beach day, her “Glee” co-stars, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and Harry Shum Jr., were busy with press events at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. Nonetheless, Lea still managed to show support to her pals via Twitter, writing, ” So sad I can’t be at Comic Con this weekend promoting my new movie ‘Dorothy of Oz’ and w/ ‘Glee’! Sending love to every1 there!!! Miss you guys!”
During the convention, “Glee” exec producer Brad Fulchuk clarified the swirling rumors about Lea, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith’s departure at the end of the third season. “They are not done with the show after this season,” he said.
“Because they’re graduating doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t just say, ‘We’re going to let you go.’ It was never our plan, it was never our intention to let them go,” Brad explained. “They are not done with the show after this season.”
