After excluding the lavender-painted horses from her new music video, the 'Monte Carlo' actress releases a first look of the clip where she appears really fashionable in various scenes.Selena Gomez released the first look of her anticipated music video, "Love You Like a Love Song", on Tuesday, June 21 via E! Online. In the sneak-peek video, the "Monte Carlo" actress shows off her bold new fashion signature in vintage style.

The girlfriend of Justin Bieber is featured in multiple fancy scenes in her new clip. She hits a Japanese karaoke bar before appearing in a futuristic telly with glittering silver lipstick. In the following scenes, she also appears as Marie Antoinette-era cake eater as well as mariachi band compatriot.

The former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star was previously strictly criticized by singer Pink over animal harassment issue in the making of this video, which then forced her to cut off the controversial scene, that features the lavender-painted horses, from the clip. She, however, replaces it with her best 50s' Pink Lady impressions and Bohemian romance novel recreations.

"This song is fun and I wanted it to be really high fashion and different and I think we have accomplished that," Selena said of the meaning behind the single. "It's basically talking about how crazy you are about someone whenever it's the beginning. It's the honeymoon stage if you will."

Asked if it's based on her own experience, the Texas-born beauty replied, "Because I'm only 18, I think love is supposed to be really fun." She explained, "So that's how I interpret it, at this point in my life. I think it's really fun and you are supposed to enjoy it, kinda drive in." Finally, when she was asked whether or not she and her Canadian teen heartthrob boyfriend are in love, Selena coyly admitted, "Maybe."
