In movie categories, "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" leads the nominations after collecting 12 nominations. Among the counts, it vies for Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy. The vampire drama movie also lands nods for its leading actors, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who is up for Choice Movie Actress and Actor for Sci-Fi/Fantasy field.
"Eclipse's" biggest competition comes from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", which also receives multiple nominations. The two film franchises, however, are not the only ones battling for the supremacy at the awards. They must face off against other notable films, like "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," "Super 8" and
Aside from music stars and movies, various famous TV shows are also competing to be voted the favorites. "The Vampire Diaries" comes face to face with "Teen Wolf" and "Supernatural" for Choice TV Show in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category, while "Glee", leads the TV nominations with 9 nods, will have to defeat Selena's "Wizards of Waverly Place" in the comedy category.
This year's Teen Choice Awards will take place on August 7 and will be aired on FOX at 8 P.M. ET/PT. Fans ages 13-19 can votes for their favorites starting from June 29 at the show's official website. More nominees, presenters and performers will be announced later.
