Khloe Kardashian Plans Kim's Engagement Party in Only 3 Days

Explaining that her family are so busy with their schedule, the wife of Lamar Odom says that she has to organize a last-minute party held on Thursday, June 16 to celebrate her sister's engagement.Khloe Kardashian needed only three days to arrange the engagement party of her sister Kim Kardashian and new fiance Kris Humphries. The youngest of the Kardashian sisters revealed that the tight schedule in her family forced her to throw the "last-minute bash" last Thursday, June 16.
"We obviously move really fast in my family," Khloe told Us Weekly at the NIVEA Challenge in Bel Air, Calif on Sunday, June 19. "We're so crazy busy, and Kris was going back to Minnesota to be with his family. We were trying to find a day where the two fiancees could be there with all of us. On Monday, we realized that Thursday was open, so I was like, 'Am I really going to throw a party on Thursday?' "
The wife of L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom further dished that she called party planner Sharon Sachs, who arranged her wedding back in 2009, to organize Kim's last-minute party. She gushed, "She did my wedding in nine days, so I was like, 'You can put together an engagement party in three days! It was really fun."
Around 50 relatives and close friends attended Kim and Kris' engagement bash, including friends who hadn't met the power forward of the New Jersey Nets. "Everybody had the best time and got along," Khloe said of the party. "It was so sweet see everyone hang out with each other."
On Saturday, June 18, Khloe threw her own birthday bash at Sugar Factory American Brasserie and Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in Las Vegas. She celebrated turning 27 with her husband Lamar, sister Kim, future brother-in-law Kris and younger brother Rob Kardashian. The group booked an exclusive VIP booth, in which they enjoyed Veuve Clicquot, Grey Goose vodka and Patron tequila.
The family enjoyed Italian style dinner during the celebration, before Khloe was surprised with a cupcake platters at the end of the supper as the restaurant serenaded her with "Happy Birthday." At the bash, Kim and Kris were seen feeding each other cupcakes and spoonfuls of ice cream.
