Despite the busy schedule of his solo singing career, the middle member of the Jonas Brothers admits he wants to pursue acting career, revealing that he's already prepared a new film with his pal.Joe Jonas has lately been busy with his solo singing career apart from the Jonas Brothers. However, the middle member of the famous sibling band admitted that he still wants to pursue his acting career. "I really hope to find a role that will be right," he recently told Marc Malkin from E! Online.

To prove that he's serious about acting, Joe has even made a preparation for an upcoming movie project. "There's a role that I've been creating with my friend. I've had this idea for a long time and, well, he's a famous movie producer so we're like, 'Let's just get a writer and make it happen," he dished.

Furthermore, the 21-year-old popstar enthused, "So this writer and I have started working together." He explained, "He's doing a great job and really close to finishing the final draft. We'll see how the record plays out and then take two months to film the movie."

While he's dishing on his acting career, earlier this month it was revealed that Joe was once auditioned for the part of Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man for "The Amazing Spider-Man". He, however, failed to land the coveted role, which went to Andrew Garfield, and his thighs are said to be the reason why.

A man named Warren allegedly from Paramount Studios calls and breaks the news to Joe, saying, "I'll be honest, I'll be frank... the main reason is your thighs. Your thighs Joe, they're just too fat," he told the little brother of Kevin Jonas. "Imagine Spider Man, he's swinging through the air and everything like that and it looks like somebody used a bicycle pump for his thighs."
