The wife of British funnyman Russell Brand was supposed to release the video on June 14, but she announced on her Facebook that the new clip will be launched earlier if everyone gets #kathybethterry to be trending topic on Twitter.

Playing her nerdy alter ego, Kathy Beth Terry, the "E.T." hitmaker is pushed to attend a rave party in her neighbor's house. The video is packed with random cameos, such as internet sensation Rebecca Black and "Glee" star Kevin McHale. The former gives Kathy a nice makeover, including fluorescent mini skirt and crimped hair, and the latter is her love interest.

Beside Rebecca and Kevin, another star who also appears as cameos in Katy's new music video is Kevin's "Glee" co-star Darren Criss. Meanwhile, Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson portray Kathy's parents. Sax player Kenny G and band Hanson also appear in the party scene of the 80s'-themed video.
