Drake Feels Awkward in Chris Brown and Rihanna Mix-Up at 2011 BET Awards

The confusion happens at the show when Drake was called to the stage after Chris Brown and Rihanna's names were mixed up in the announcement of Viewers' Choice Award.An awkward moment happened during the annual 2011 BET Awards at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, June 26. When it's time to present the Viewer's Choice Award, a lucky fan named Tiffany Green won the privilege to announce the winner. She announced Chris Brown as the winner, but when the audience booed her, she backtracked it and said that the real winner was Rihanna.
Nonetheless, it was Drake, not Breezy and RiRi, who went to the stage to receive the award. The former "Degrassi: The Next Generation" star made a comment about the incident at the beginning of his speech. "Well, that was awkward," the Canadian singer said before continuing his speech. At that point, it was believed that Rihanna was the winner and Drizzy was there to receive the trophy on her behalf.
However, at the end of the show, host Kevin Hart clarified the mix-up by saying that the real winner for the category was indeed Breezy. BET furthermore tweeted a congratulation to the "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker. "Congrats to @ChrisBrown on winning the #FANdemonium AND the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award!! #BETAwards#BETAwardsWin#TeamBreezy," so they wrote.
Tiffany herself then took to her Twitter and defended herself by saying that it was BET which messed it up. She wrote, "Bawling bacstage. They totally f***ed me up. The tablet f****in said CHRIS BROWN....the TELEPROMPTER said Rihanna. What the F***?????? Goin home....."
She added on the following tweet, "So BET did that on purpose. Oh. I feel better. Look b***hes....Im not SLOW. Lol They did the s*** on PURPOSE. F***ed up right? *shrug* smg. Everyone's comin up to me tellin me how good I did under those f***ed up circumstances. Welp. Im trendin worldwide. I gives no f*** what yall THINK happened. Cuz guess what? Im HERE. You Not. :) "
