The 'Baby' hitmaker was accepted by only seven of his devotees as he arrived in Hong Kong airport, looking unfriendly and walking straight pass the tiny crowd.Justin Bieber was greeted by only a tiny crowd of fans waiting upon his arrival in Hong Kong. The "Baby" hitmaker was usually mobbed by hysterical devotees wherever he goes, but when he touched down in the southern Chinese city last May 11, there were only seven girls showing up, leading local paper, South China Morning Post, to brand it as an "embarrassingly low-key reception".

Justin himself looked "grumpy" when arriving in the city. A footage capturing the teen heartthrob with no smile on his face as he walked straight pass the mini mass has made its way out via YouTube and has been viewed 135,000 times by Sunday, May 15. Despite his unfriendly appearance, fans of the pop star had spoken up to defend him.

"He didn't acknowledge us but that was probably because he saw more of the photographers," a 15-year-old Belieber named Ruth Boon insisted. The devoted fan further explained the small number of fans waiting for Justin at the airport was likely to be caused by the fact that the singer arrived on a school day.

Despite the considerably disappointing reception at the airport, the Canadian heartthrob still performed a sold-out concert on Friday, May 13. The Hong Kong gig, which was one of his last concerts of "My World" tour, saw a 13,500-seat stadium almost packed to capacity.
