The two popstars haven't said anything in regard of criticism from The Parents Television Council over their racy stage act at 2011 Billboard Music Awards.Neither Rihanna and Britney Spears has issued statement to clarify criticism thrown by The Parents Television Council which blasted the twosome's racy performance at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last Sunday, May 22. The watchdog group claimed the two songstresses' stage act was too sexy for TV.

In sounding off their protest, the president of the organization Tim Winter stated, "What happened in Vegas should have stayed in Vegas, as the saying goes." He added, "It certainly has no place at 8:00 P.M. on the publicly-owned broadcast airwaves."

The PTC slammed RiRi and Brit for bringing bad effects on teenagers. He said, "The overtly sexualized performance by Rihanna and Britney Spears was no accident or mishap, but a deliberate effort to target teens with images and lyrics that glamorize whips, chains and other sexual fetishes."

Winter also demanded his members to file complaints to Disney channel, parent company of ABC, explaining, "I cannot imagine what would possibly lead the ABC television network to air a profanity-laced, 'S&M' sex show on prime time broadcast television." And though the network was strictly criticized, ABC remained silent about the issue as well.
