Extreme couponing, grocery coupons, grocery coupons, free coupons

I recently found Your Bucks.com , a new website that lets you print manufacturers’ coupons and then rewards you for using them with “Your Bucks.” Accumulate enough Your Bucks to get dollar-off reward coupons for your next shopping trip. Participating stores include Bi-Lo, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Lowes Food, Bloom, Target and Walgreens.

Summer is coming and that means reading programs for kids aren’t far behind. Barnes & Noble’s program lets kids earn one free book when they read eight others. Plus, parents are entered for a chance to win a Nook every time a reading journal logging in the eight books is submitted. The program runs Tuesday through Aug. 6.

Be sure to check out Borders and the local library about their reading programs.

Patience can pay off. Let’s say you decide to coupon. You buy the Sunday paper and the coupons are for products not on sale. Here is a great trick: Clip your coupons and hold on to them. Stores usually will put these products on sale a week or two after the coupons appear in the Sunday paper. By holding on to your coupons, you’ll be able to better match your coupons with store discounts.
