Getting the girls out on a Monday morning, Ben Affleck dropped Violet off at school and then headed to Brentwood Country Mart for a cup of coffee with little Seraphina.
The "Argo" star looked handsome in a black jacket over a striped sweater, gray winter hat, and blue jeans, while his happy 4-year-old girl held his hand in a black dress and pink cardigan.
Though snubbed for a directing Oscar at this year's Academy Awards, this past weekend he picked up yet another for his work on "Argo."
At the Directors Guild of America Awards, the 40-year-old actor/director won the Best Directing of a Feature Film honor. He told the audience, "I worked really, really hard to become the best director I could be, by putting in as [many] hours as I can, and banging my head against a wall, berating myself, lying to myself about whether it’s going to work. Basically, I got to a point where I was nominated for this award. And I don’t think this makes me a real director — but I think it means I’m on my way.”
