The ‘Friday’ hitmaker will follow up her debut single with a simultaneous release of new single, ‘My Moment’, and its music video on July 18 on her YouTube channel.Internet sensation Rebecca Black is getting ready to drop “My Moment”. The 14-year-old teen singer, who found fame through viral hit song “Friday”, will debut the new single Monday, July 18 on her YouTube channel and official site. Simultaneously, she will also release a music video for the follow-up single.
The song, written by Brandon “Blue” Hamilton and Quinton Tolbert, will be made available for purchase on iTunes the next day on July 19. According to a press release, its accompanying video will feature footage from her real life that include her last days at junior high and various red carpet appearances to “tell the story of her sudden rise to fame”.
Back in June, Black caused an online frenzy when “Friday” was removed from YouTube due to copyright issue. “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video,” her publicist explained at the time. Her camp insisted that the company was wrongfully exploiting her image and her song.
