“American Horror Story: Freak Show,” the fourth and possibly the most insane installment of the hit FX anthology series, came to an end last Wednesday (Jan 21), and while we’re still trying to figure out what the eff went on, it’s time for us to start thinking about what show runner Ryan Murphy has in store for Season 5.
What we know so far is that the fifth season of “American Horror Story” will be “very different” compared to “Freak Show.”
Ryan Murphy has obviously been keeping details about the new season under wraps (like he does with every season), however, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf told TV Line it was his “hope” that the series would return to the present day, like the first (and arguably the best) season “Murder House.”
