The 24-year-old is constantly seen hanging out with some of the world's biggest names. Selena Gomez is one of Taylor's closest friends and has publicly talked about her friendship with Taylor. She loves that fact that Taylor doesn't judge her despite Selena's decision to date the controversial Justin Bieber, whom Taylor once made a disgusted face towards backstage at the VMAs.

"She supports me and never judges me for anything," Selena said on CBS' The Talk earlier this year.
It isn't a coincidence however that most of Taylor's friends happen to be famous. Taylor has admitted to People Magazine that she tends to choose friends who she can trust, and usually that happens to be other famous people, which is likely because they don't have as much of a need to use her for anything.
This doesn't mean that she wouldn't be friends with a non-famous person however. Ultimately, she loves people who are incredibly ambitious and are chasing their dreams.
“I look for people who really have their own passion in life,” she said while on The View. “My friends, they all are chasing their own dreams, and they all have their own ambitions.”
Another common characteristic that Taylor's friends usually have is that they're not the type to go to bars or clubs, which is not surprising since Taylor is not the type to be seen drunk on a night out. This is why “it works out pretty well” according to Taylor.
