Who Is Most Likely To Die Next In The Walking Dead?

The Walking Dead season five will be coming to a break next week and if tradition repeats itself, one or even two unlucky survivors won't be making it any further as speculation is rife that someone will die. But whose clock is ticking in the apocalyptic world?

Next week's mid season finale, episode Coda, will see Rick come face-to-face with the honchos at Grady Memorial Hospital where Carol and Beth are being held by the police officers who took them captive. Neither side will play nice though and Rick is prepared to kill anyone who gets in his group's way while the Grady gang seem pretty willing to retaliate to protect their own meaning chances are slim for a blood-free ending.

Rumours have been swirling that Beth is the doomed survivor but before we jump to conclusions, let's have a look at who has outstayed their welcome (in our opinion)…

Glenn:

We do love Glenn. But let's be honest. His character has been stale ever since he reunited with Maggie after the prison showdown and to be frank, he's been much too happy over the last few episodes. Like seriously, we're talking almost skipping through the desolated fields with Tara kind of happy. It's the apocalyptic world in a show about zombies. Nobody wants happy. Sorry Glenn, we feel your time needs to be up and we all know what this show does to people who are happy. Although he's not the only one grating on us at the moment… Chances of dying: 4/5

Maggie:

His other half. We do love how badass Maggie has become, especially when she barked at Eugene to “sit down or get put down” in the last episode, Crossed. But, just like Glenn, she's lost her appeal and doesn't seem to have much beneath the surface anymore. There has to be drama between her and Glenn or just something to make us care. But most of all, the fact that she hasn't even mentioned her MISSING sister Beth proves that she doesn't deserve to carry on. Sorry but not sorry! Chances of dying: 3/5

Tara:

Hmm… a filler character at the moment and just like Maggie and Glenn, a bit too nice. It does seem as though she has a ‘;thing' for Glenn at times but so far, nothing has come of it so quite frankly, we're not interested. She does seem to be a disposable character at the moment but something tells us she'll be sticking around. Chances of dying: 2/5

Rosita:

Now here's a character that could potentially have something to offer. She's no pushover judging by the way that she spoke to Eugene in the last episode and we sense that there's something lurking beneath the surface that we're yet to find out. Plus, there have been a couple of references to her life before the infection. Chances of dying: 1/5

Michonne:

Our favourite warrior princess has been very quiet this season but, simply put, she's not going anywhere soon. Chances of dying: 0

Carl:

There was a time when we prayed with every episode that Rick's son would get killed off but, he's still here and you know what, we've grown to like him a little bit more now that he has less screen time. Chances of dying: 0

Daryl:

Erm… like they'd be brave enough to kill off their number one hunk?! Chances of dying: 0 Rick: Next! Chances of dying: 0

Abraham:

After Eugene's revelation that he lied about the Washington cure, Abraham seems to be a lost cause at the moment so it's possible that he'll be put out of our misery. But that would be the easy route wouldn't it? Plus, it's nice having him challenge Rick at times. Chances of dying: 3/5

Baby Judith:

It was touch and go for a moment in season four but our Little Badass is a trooper! Chances of dying: 1/5

Beth:

She's a goner!! Come on, how many of you can actually stand her? She's completely irritating and the fact a whole episode - Slabtown - was wasted on her and she didn't even escape Grady when Noah, who was LIMPING, managed to get away, made us want her to die even more. She has no value, Maggie doesn't even care about her so what's the point in keeping her around. She's had a great run making it five seasons but that was because most of the time, she was hidden inside watching baby Judith. Useless. Let's just be done with it. Chances of dying: 5/5

So who would you like to see go next week? Will there be more than one death? We can't wait to tune in!
