The Park Is Open: Chris Pratt Stars In First Jurassic World Teaser

The first teaser for Jurassic World has been released today ahead of the full trailer which will be unleashed on Friday 28th November in the UK.

The teaser for the trailer (yes everyone's doing it now, thanks Fifty Shades), is only 15 seconds long but we get a glimpse of John Hammond's dream finally becoming a reality as the fourth film takes place when Jurassic Park is up and running. We also see park employees Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard alongside a look at the dinos themselves, all set to a slowed down version of that John Williams' theme.

Jurassic World is set 22 years on from the events of the original 1993 movie, with leading man Chris telling Total Film earlier this year: "John Hammond's dream is up and running and there's now a park with 20,000 visitors a day. Everything he dreamed of and more is in this park, and you will see it as an audience member when you see this movie. And you will see it get torn down!"

The Guardians of the Galaxy star plays a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, who conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors. But with visitor numbers to the park declining Owen's bosses bring in a new attraction to jump start the business, cue mayhem.

Steven Spielberg returns as executive producer, Colin Trevorrow directs while Judy Greer, New Girl star Jake Johnson and the only leftover from the original films, BD Wong (as chief geneticist Henry Wu), also star.

The movie will hit cinemas on June 12, 2015. Here's everything else you need to know about JW.

Look out for the first trailer in the early hours of Friday in the UK and at 6PM PST | 9PM EST in the US, during the Thanksgiving day football presentation on NBC.
