Liam Hemsworth has admitted that his Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence, is more than just a work colleague and has helped him through some difficult times in his life. The hunk, who is currently promoting the third installment of Suzanne Shaw's dystopian drama, Mockingjay Part 1, revealed that it was just impossible to feel down when around Jen.
While the Aussie hunk didn't mention exactly what he'd been upset about, it's not too hard to work out he may well be talking about his very public split with Miley Cyrus. The couple's four year romance came to an end last September after months of speculation. But revealing that he's never felt more "comfortable" he told the Associated Press Jen had helped him to get back on the right path.
"For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment," he said. "But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier."

Explaining that it took him a few years to get used to living in Hollywood the 24 year-old went on: "I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been in my whole life. Over the last five years I've learned so much The first few years in LA were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself.”
Liam has become not just a movie star but a tabloid favourite since exploding onto the scene. He started dating Miley Cyrus in 2010 after meeting on the set of The Last Song and immediately became a tabloid favourite couple, which only intensified when the relationship fell apart last year and they called off their year-long engagement.
The actor was linked to Mad Men star January Jones, while he was still with Miley, but claiming that he isn't bothered about what the tabloids say, Liam said: "What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that's all that matters. I know I'm a good person and these days I feel like I'm more centered and grounded than I've ever been.”
