Bastille Launch Michael Jackson Inspired Music Video

Bastille have drawn inspiration from the King Of Pop in the video for their new single Torn Apart. The promo for the latest release from the British band sees a different twist being put on the story of Michael Jackson's promo for Black And White.

The promo - directed by Keith Schofield - for Dan Smith, Kyle Simmons, Will Farquarson and Chris Wood's collaboration with London based producer Grades tells the story of varying interpretations of what love means to different people through the medium of performance art.

Frontman Dan previously explained why they love making mixtapes in the interim periods between studio albums. He said: "With the mixtapes, it's about working with as many people as possible and having fun with people that we know and the friends we've made through touring."

Bastille recently joined the line-up for Band Aid 30 adding their talents to the charity siongle to help raise funds for the ebola crisis in Africa. They are now in the US performing their sell-out arena tour. The band have already achieved huge success stateside with their debut album Bad Blood which has sold in excess of three-million copies since it's release.

Torn Apart is available from November 30. Their latest mixtape VS. (Other People's Heartache Pt. III) follows on from the previous two titles in the series and will be released on December 8. It features collaborations with big names including Haim, Angel Haze and MNEK.
