Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger ignored the haters by flaunting their relationship in Malibu on Saturday. The pair cosied up to each other on their way back from an intimate dinner date in Nobu, where they held hands and snuggled up as they went for a romantic stroll around the streets of California.
Flashing her leg in a side split grey maxi skirt, Miley dressed down in a black jumper and white sneakers. Patrick also stayed casual in a black top, jeans and trainers. Gazing into each other's eyes, the couple seemed oblivious to the rumours that Patrick's mum Maria, the former First Lady of California and Kennedy-family socialite, had slammed their new relationship.

The Wrecking Ball singer's wild ways don't seem to have gone done well with her potential mother-in-law, with a source telling HollywoodLife, “Maria [Shriver] is very, very worried about the influence Miley's having on Patrick. She fully believes that you become who you surround yourself with and she's always been so happy with the friends Patrick chooses, she never saw this coming.”
Earlier this month, Miley invited her new beau to her 22nd birthday bash, but some of the racy snaps from the party failed to impress Maria. “The birthday party with all the penis pictures disgusted her. That was the worst thing Miley could have done,” an insider explained. Despite this, the 22-year-old made no effort to tame her wild ways and posted a topless snap of herself rounding off Thanksgiving. Classic Miley!

Earlier this month, the pair were also subject to vicious rumours that Miley had fallen pregnant but was hiding the news from Patrick. According to Life & Style, the serial twerker was “preparing to become a mom” but didn't want her beau to think she was “irresponsible.” Unsurprisingly, this story turned out to be completely false.
But the couple look they're taking the high road and don't seem to be letting these rumours affect their relationship. Good for you, Miley and Patrick!
