She’s the voice of her generation so it’s only fitting that Rihanna was selected by the amfAR Inspiration Gala committee to hand out a special trophy to designer Tom Ford.

According to a report, the “We Found Love” songstress will attend the big event later this month and present the Award of Inspiration to the beloved fashion industry icon.

Ri-Ri told E! News, "Tom has inspired so many aspects of my art over the years, not to mention his clothes give me a real bad attitude. His commitment to the cause and commitment to amfAR is truly admirable."

The 2014 amfAR Inspiration Gala will take place on October 29th at Milk Studios with Gwyneth Paltrow serving as host.
