Giving her fans some tips on etiquette, Nicole Richie focused on manners in Episode 20 of her hit web series “#CandidlyNicole.”

Joined by her friend Derek Blasberg, the “Simple Life” lady explains, “Today is my neighbors’ 32nd wedding anniversary. Tonight, I just want to do a really great dinner party. My very good and very classy friend Derek Blasberg is sort of a master at dinner parties.”

Blasberg adds in, “I like to think I’m more of an expert in social graces, which is something that Nicole is definitely not, so I’m glad she called in some help today.”

As for her own entertaining tips, Nicole shares, “I always have fresh flowers. I have candles- the scent is very important. And at my house I like to keep things very casual so everybody takes off their shoes. We’re normally outside and [my guests] know that when they come to my house they’re going to have to take off their shoes.”
