“That 70′s Show” Star Lisa Robin Kelly Dead at Age 43

Former “That 70s Show” star Lisa Robin Kelly has passed away at 43 years old. The actress, who starred as Eric Forman’s sister Laurie on the hit sitcom, reportedly died Wednesday night at a California rehab facility where she was seeking treatment.

Within the last few years, Kelly has made headlines due to her battle with drug addiction. As TMZ notes, she was been arrested four times over the past three years for “DUI, spousal abuse and assault.” Her latest DUI arrest was less than two months ago.

Based on an interview that she did with ABC News in 2012, it was clear that she was battling a drinking problem back when “That 70′s Show” was filming.

“With ‘That ’70s Show’ I was guilty of a drinking problem,” she said.  “And I ran.”

Kelly filed for divorce from her husband Robert Gilliam back in July after reports surfaced that he beat her. Gilliam was charged with domestic battery and sentenced to three years probation.

According to TMZ, Lisa’s new boyfriend took her to the facility on Monday. She then went into cardiac arrest two days later and couldn’t be saved. Her boyfriend is said to blame her recent relapse on her estranged husband.

News of Lisa’s death was confirmed via her agent, who said, “She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle.”
