After disbanding in 2009, the girl group Danity Kane is officially reuniting, according to an Instagram photo posted by member Aubrey O’Day on Sunday (August 25).

The snapshot showed four members of the platinum-selling pop group in a promotional shot with the caption "DANITY KANE is officially BACK! @danitykane #vmas2013 #Rage."

Formed in 2005 on Diddy's show "Making the Band," the group enjoyed success with hits such as "Damaged," but after O'Day and D. Woods were fired, the group disbanded.

Rumors have been circulating about a reunion back in May, and fans will be eagerly awaiting the official announcement at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards. According to MTV, the reunion will take place during the pre-show at 8:15.
