Making the most of their holiday abroad, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden stepped out in Portofino, Italy on Tuesday afternoon (July 16).

The “Simple Life” starlet and her Good Charlotte rocker hubby did some shopping around the marketplace before hopping on a yacht to take some photos with their kiddos Harlow and Sparrow.

And while she’s well-known as a fashion trendsetter, Nicole previously confessed that she gets plenty of style advice from her children.

Richie explained, “I was wearing these polka-dot harem pants the other day and my daughter said to me, ‘Mom, why are you wearing your pajamas out?"'
