After watching his younger brothers skyrocket to fame, Luke Hemsworth is finally getting his shot at stardom as he is set to play the lead in the upcoming move, "The Reckoning."

According to Deadline, this will be the big-screen debut of the 31-year-old sibling of Liam and Chris, who had been toiling away on Australian television shows.

In the thriller, Luke will play a detective on the trail of a killer who must find two young runaways whose video footage contains the identity of the murderer.

Written and directed by John V. Soto, the film also stars another famous sibling - Anthony LaPaglia's younger brother, Jonathan LaPaglia. "The Reckoning" will hit theaters next year.
