Though cloaked in the guise of a reality show, secrets about the hit series "The Hills" are being revealed thanks to Kristin Cavallari.

In an interview with E! host Giuliana Rancic, the former reality star was asked about the rumors that she was a drug user.

In response, Kristin said, "No. And that actually came from 'The Hills.'" She explained, "We were in Miami for the Super Bowl. And we were there filming ‘The Hills.’ One of the producers told the girls [my co-stars] that he would give them gifts, specifically a Birkin bag, if they had talked about me doing drugs on camera.”

Unhappy with their actions, she added, "The next thing I know, we get home and everything and it’s in one of the tabloids that I have this huge drug problem and I need to go to rehab.”

Disgruntled with the show that made her a star, Ms. Cavallari concluded, "I felt so used. And I realized at that moment that I didn't matter. None of us mattered. It was all about ratings."
