Casey Anthony Offered $10,000 for Silence and Media Rights

In a bizarre twist to Casey Anthony's story, her bankruptcy case revealed that someone offered her $10,000 for exclusive rights to her life story.

Back in 2008, her daughter Caylee Anthony's remains were found near the family's home, and she was subsequently tried for murder and acquitted.

According to court documents, James M. Schober offered $10k to "prevent Ms. Anthony or others from publishing or profiting from her story in the future."

The information was disclosed as possible income used to pay back the $800,000 in debt that the 26-year-old owes creditors.

According to TMZ, the bankruptcy trustee has asked the court for permission to start a bidding war on her story.
