Enjoying some downtime together, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman went for a stroll in the rainy Big Apple this morning (March 12).

The “Get Smart” gal and her hunky hubby dressed for the chilly wet weather and brought along an umbrella as they made their way around Manhattan on foot.

Anne is begin considered to play Eliza Doolittle in the film version of “My Fair Lady,” and producer Cameron Mackintosh is excited to see how she does with the English accent.

An insider told press, “Cameron feels having Anne on board will help replicate the success of Les Mis. The cockney accent won’t be a problem. She’ll pick it up in no time.”
