Taking his case to court, Donald Trump is suing Bill Maher for $5 million, according to legal filings found by TMZ on Monday (February 4).

The brash businessman claims the talk show host has failed to make good on his promise to donate the hefty sum to charity after Trump proved he was not part orangutan.

Mr. Maher made the offer after an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” shortly after The Donald challenged President Obama to provide his birth certificate.

Mr. Trump says he filed the suit because worthy charities are losing out on millions of dollars in donations since Bill failed to pay up.
