Are Katy Katy Perry and John Mayer engaged?

The musical couple were spotted out on a Valentine’s Day dinner and Perry was rocking a mysterious heart-shaped, ruby ring on her finger, prompting many to speculate if the musical couple is engaged.

Perry and Mayer have been dating for the past several months following her divorce from comedian, Russell Brand, who seems to have moved on himself.

“You have to let go of the instinct to protect someone once you divorce them,” Brand said in an earlier interview.

Reps for neither Perry nor Mayer have yet to comment on the ring … and probably won’t.
