Lance Armstrong’s Confession: Creating Media Frenzy

It’s no secret that his interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” has everybody talking, and Lance Armstrong's story could prove to be quite lucrative when all is said and done.

According to multiple reports, the disgraced cyclist is the subject of a few new books, a documentary and even a Hollywood film project.

JJ Abrams (Lost, Star Trek) has acquired the rights to Juliet Macur’s new book “Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong,” and his Bad Robot production company will develop a movie based on the subject matter.

Additionally, British sports journalist David Walsh will release “Seven Deadly Sins” on January 29th about Armstrong’s long-rumored use of performance-enhancing drugs. In the past Lance called David “the worst journalist I know” and “a f*cking troll,” and he even had his lawyers try to intimidate Walsh with threats of lawsuits.

And as recently as this past weekend, “Saturday Night Live” based one of their skits on Armstrong’s confession. It was hilarious.
