Facing the bitter cold chill, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise made their routine walk to school in New York City on Thursday (January 3).

The 34-year-old actress rocked a navy pea coat with a simple red dress as she held her adorable daughter’s hand along with Suri’s bright pink backpack.

As recently reported by GossipCenter, a representative for Miss Holmes fired down reports that she and actor Jake Gyllenhaal are dating.

In a statement released on Wednesday (January 2), the “Batman Begin” star’s camp said, “This story has not one ounce of truth.”

Jake’s rep also chimed in stating, “It’s a complete fabrication."
