After repeatedly putting her mouth near Anderson Cooper's crotch during their live New Year's Eve telecast on CNN, Kathy Griffin is being blasted by the Parents Television Council.

According to TMZ, President Tom Winter of the PTC said that the 52-year-old comedian "has shown increasing contempt for the audience ..."

Pressuring the network to make a move, Mr. Winter continued, "The onus is now on CNN. Either the network has a policy that allows its on-air talent to fondle a co-anchor's genitals, or it has a policy that forbids such conduct." As for the argument that kids are already in bed, he retorts that New Year's Eve is a night that parents may let their children stay up late.
