Making her health a priority as she readies for a new year, Eva Mendes stopped by the doctor for a check up on Monday (December 31) in Calabasas, CA.

Clad in jeans and a striped button down blouse, the “Hitch” actress was accompanied by a friend on her visit to the California Health & Longevity Institute.

During the course of the day, Miss Mendes also embarked on a New Year's Eve hike with some gal pals and her dog, Hugo, as well as her beau, Ryan Gosling's dog George.

In career news, the 38-year-old beauty can next be seen alongside Kate Hudson and Michael Keaton in the TV movie “Clear History,” which is about a disgraced former marketing executive who plots against a former boss.
