The promo video sees Nina’s Elena in danger as Paul’s Stefan is going to feed on her, while Ian Somerhalder’s Damon is racing against time to save her.Nina Dobrev screams in terror in a preview of “The Vampire Diaries” season 3 episode 5. Nina’s Elena is seen nearly getting bitten on the neck by Paul Wesley’s Stefan. “When that clock ticks down, I have to feed on you!” so Stefan said to Elena. The two are put in such situation since Joseph Morgan’s Klaus uses Stefan for increasingly violent and dangerous purposes.
Titled “The Reckoning”, the upcoming episode also sees Candice Accola’s Caroline who is determined to see that Elena, Kat Graham’s Bonnie, Zach Roerig’s Matt and Michael Trevino’s Tyler all enjoy a traditional Senior Prank Night before the school year begins at Mystic Falls High School. The traditional prank then becomes a nightmare as an uninvited guests show up.
Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder’s Damon tries to convince Steven R. McQueen’s Jeremy that he can use his new connection to the other side to find a way to defeat Klaus. Damon then races against the ticking clock to safe Elena from being harmed. This anticipated episode will air on Thursday, October 13 on The CW.
