The Rosalie Hale of the “Twilight Saga” film series compared her big day to the wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part I” and claimed that hers will not be as big as the fiction couple’s.
“They had a beautiful wedding, but Paul and I are just not Edward and Bella, at all!” Nikki told reporters during the launch party of “Just Dance 3” at The Beverly in West Hollywood on Tuesday, October 4. “It will be small,” the 23-year-old beauty added.
During the chat, Nikki also revealed that she has picked her best friend Alexa Vega as her Maid of Honor. The Los Angeles-born starlet added that she has already bought the wedding gown, but she remained tight-lipped about the details. “I haven’t told Paul anything. He’s super traditional and wants to be surprised,” she explained.
Paul, meanwhile, went on gushing that he will serenade a song or two during the reception. He said, “I’ve got a handful of songs. I might bust out one or two.” The “American Idol” alum also shared about his wedding planning, revealing, “We’re both doing equal amounts.”
“It’s coming along. I’ve obviously been doing a lot more since I’ve been back in town,” the 27-year-old Alabama-born musician continued. “I was so busy out on the road. So she and the wedding planner were handling a bunch.”
Nikki and Paul first met on the red carpet of the “Red Riding Hood” premiere in March. Despite their relatively new relationship, the couple reportedly hunted a house to live in together in Los Angeles. Although some people said that Nikki went a little too fast with her relationship with Paul, the actress didn’t seem to care about it. “I love him and I don’t care,” she told PEOPLE magazine last May. “I’ve never met anyone like him.”
