Comedy Central has secured a time, date, location and subject for its annual roast — but it’s not Kid Rock.

Rock was scheduled to be roasted by celebrities at the cable channel’s annual dinner, but said he wouldn’t attend if the dinner wasn’t hosted in Detroit. So after rumors surfaced that the channel couldn’t secure a location here, it appears they’ve moved on to Charlie Sheen.

In a Comedy Central release, the channel says that Sheen — who has already been roasted in Detroit, sorta — will be subject to this year’s friars on September 10. The special is due for a September 19 airing.

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us,” Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production, said in the release.
