The frontman of the Black Eyed Peas was evacuated along with 1,500 guests who tried to flee from the fire that burned down the Park Lane Hilton in London's Mayfair.Black Eyed Peas' frontman will.i.am suffered a nightmarish experience as he nearly fell victim to a fire broke out at the Park Lane Hilton in London's Mayfair neighborhood. Lucky for the 36-year-old rapper because the firemen arrived on time to evacuate him.

Using his tee to cover his mouth and nose from the smoke, will.i.am was seen among 1,500 guests and staffers who tried to escape the fire that burned down the 28-storey building. About 20 firefighters were sent to the location in response to a report of a blaze that appeared in the second-floor kitchen. Thankfully, there were no injuries in the accident.

Despite the disaster, will.i.am and his Grammy-winning band still managed to throw their gig at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park. A representative of the event said that the artist appeared perfectly fine by the time he joined his band onstage.

The BEP kicked off the show in the capital of England in front of around 63,000 concert-goers. "Peas rockin hyde park," the R&B star wrote on his Twitter along with a photo showing himself with Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie and Taboo to prove that he was not affected by the fire burning. "I'm dj'n in the sky hovering over 60thousand people in hyde park," so he wrote in the following tweet.
