CDC ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ warning

The Centers for Disease Control has more than he bargained for Thursday (May 19) when you mention a zombie apocalypse in a blog post about hurricane preparedness. Perhaps we are all more sensitive to a zombie invasion is now possible that an apocalypse of some kind is planned for Saturday (May 21). The CDC is aware of our sensitivity and, apparently, their use in an attempt to make Americans more aware of how to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season (which makes, like, zero sense, and that starts June 1 – several days after Judgement Day. Da.) “If you prepare for the zombie apocalypse will be prepared for all hazards, ” said Dave Daigle, spokesman for the CDC Reuters. The web site usually sees less than 3,000 visits by mail, but by the time CDC server had crashed the post mentioning zombies had registered more than 60,000 visitors and was a trending topic on Twitter. So, anyway, about a hurricane: Be sure to keep plenty of clean drinking water, food and medicine on hand. The same advice applies in the case of a zombie attack and we are forced to barricade ourselves inside our homes.
